Chenoa Maxwell embodies the essence of a modern-day Renaissance force, seamlessly moving between roles as an Actress, Transformation Specialist, and internationally acclaimed Photographer.
A New York native, Chenoa initially made waves in front of the camera, earning acclaim for her standout performances in Miramax’s indie hit Hav Plenty and as the adored "Lena" in "Girlfriends." But, it is in the movie, G, a modern urban retelling of The Great Gatsby, staring opposite veteran actor Blair Underwood that Maxwell shines as a silver screen sensation.
In 2006, Chenoa ventured from Hollywood to London, immersing herself in photography at Central Saint Martins University of the Arts. Guided by photography luminaries like David Alan Harvey and Stephen Shames, she embarked on a global odyssey, capturing poignant reportage for non-profits. Her signature cinematic style and mastery of natural light swiftly established her as a sought-after photographer, landing her the coveted cover shoot for Dime Magazine featuring Shaquille O’Neal.
Specializing in editorial and portrait photography, Chenoa's captivating works grace global exhibitions and prestigious publications. Trusted by a spectrum of brands and celebrities, she seamlessly navigates between New York, Los Angeles, and Bali, crafting timeless narratives through her lens.
